Updates May 01-05

Thanks for the likes and follows.

We are still moving, and I still have a day job and things are hectic. I read somewhere that the flowers for the month of May are common Hawthorn and Lily of the Valley. The birthstone for May is emerald. Expect to see variations of these items in the future.

The moving project allows me to gain more respect for minimalists. The desire to throw everything into the trash and live on a suitcase worth of clothes is strong.

My creative well feels very low. I should be looking at inspirational things and I try but nothing seems to be sparking joy or creativity. I still try though. I reread pages and attempt to continue with a line or paragraph if possible.

Congratulations to all the winners and writers who participated in Camp NaNoWriMo!!!!

Despite my well-being low, there are some shows on Netflix that interest me. There is a Netflix original show from Jordan called Jinn. A supernatural YA thriller. African Folklore Reimagined is another show I am interested in watching. These are short stories of African folklore from various countries, an interesting anthology. The books I am looking forward to reading are Rogue Familiar by Jeffe Kennedy, The Sweetest Remedy by Jane Igharo, and Wrenched by Lindsay Buroker. There is no way I will get through these stories in a week.

That is all for now. I hope you are all doing well. Remember to be kind.
