Thank you for the likes and follows.
Today is Patriot’s Day, and most of us still just call 9/11. I feel calling it Patriot’s Day, makes it a conservative talking point, when it shouldn’t be. That day affected all Americans. I fear that during the course of the day, people are going to make labels of who it affected more or what it meant to other people. This is the limit of my political talk. I started the updates for accountability and I haven’t been accountable at all. My only excuse is that I don’t want to be redundant, I want to share positive energy and encourage creatives to do what they love. It is hard and the “it’s” tend to vary.
This week, for medical reasons, I may not write as much as I want to. I will be in serious reflection mode for this last month of the third quarter and attempting to talk myself out of NaNoWriMo. However, an admired author I follow is planning to do live-stream preptober episodes during the month of October for Nano and I am so down for that.
In reading news, I’m listening to Rogue Familiar by Jeffe Kennedy, book two in the Renegades of Magic, the sequel series to the Bonds of Magic. They are mentioned because they are all connected. I am also listening to The Fantasy Fiction Formula by Deborah Chester. I’ve done this before, started to listen to the book but put it aside for some reason. Not sure why but I plan to maintain this month at least. I love buying craft books, digital, audio, and physical copies, the issue is using the suggestions and advice effectively. Not everything will work with every story. Ideas to discuss in the future.
